Job summary

CBRE is hiring a Mobile Engineer in California to keep facilities running like clockwork. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance and repairs across HVAC, building systems and equipment, and be the frontline expert on reliability, safety and performance wherever you’re needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or trade school diploma; 4–5 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail with Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review work orders; estimate time and materials; maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to meet or exceed equipment life and safety standards.
• Review building system inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operations meet design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives; operate company vehicles.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines; lead by example within CBRE RISE values.
