Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; diesel tech training preferred.
• 2–5 years in preventative maintenance and light repairs on construction equipment.
• Experience diagnosing equipment with diagnostic tools and laptops.
• Ability to troubleshoot engine, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Strong communication, math, science and reading of schematics.
• CDL or ability to obtain CDL; MSHA certification or capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on customer-owned equipment.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic laptops, gauges, and instruments in hydraulics, electronics, power train and engines.
• Load or unload equipment from customer or carrier vehicles.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
