Job summary

Lift, Inc. in Pottsville, PA is seeking a Mobile Equipment Service Technician. You will travel to customer locations, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and productive.

You will maintain your service van, document work and parts, and follow safety protocols while supporting other duties as needed. Full-time shifts apply, with a focus on reliability and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or technical degree in a trade like automotive.
• 3+ years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work some evenings or weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally 100+ pounds.
• Comfortable working in wet, humid, hot and cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' locations and deliver professional customer service.
• Listen to customers' concerns and inspect equipment to identify repair needs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform planned maintenance and ensure safety decals and manuals are available.
• Maintain your service vehicle and keep up with regular maintenance.
• Document work performed and parts used; submit reports promptly.
• Comply with safety protocols and company standards.
• Assist with other responsibilities as assigned.

THE ROLE

As our Mobile Equipment Service Technician, you will:

• Travel to customers' locations and deliver professional customer service

• Ability to work in wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions

• Experience servicing automotive or industrial equipment
• Welding, diesel, and gas engine experience
• Independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with computers and electronic devices
• Ability to accurately follow directions
• Ability to remain cool and calm during tense situations
• Strong organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlines
