Job summary

Mesabi Metallics is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to run heavy mining gear and support safe, efficient operations on site in Minnesota. You will operate haul trucks, dozers, graders, loaders, and water trucks while following production plans and safety rules.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work remotely, and adherence to environmental regulations. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license; heavy equipment certification

Qualifications

• Proven competency operating mobile mining equipment.
• Valid tickets or VOC for machines operated.
• Strong knowledge of safe operating procedures and hazard identification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, dozers, graders, excavators, loaders, and water trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-start inspections and monitor equipment performance.
• Follow production plans and supervisor instructions to complete tasks on time.
• Support dig, dump, and stockpile activities and road maintenance.
