Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and track mobiles to move materials between workstations and storage areas at our Newton, IA facility.

You will inspect equipment, follow LEAN procedures, and maintain daily records while supporting safe, efficient loading operations. This role requires English proficiency and a proactive safety mindset, with health and safety requirements in place.

Qualifications

• Valid certificates or licenses for operation of equipment.
• At least one year of experience operating equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Commitment to LEAN principles and conduct.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of mobile equipment to complete required tasks.
• Maintain safety and follow procedures for loading operations.
• Inspect equipment at shift start and any start-up, recording data as required.
• Monitor equipment to minimize downtime and schedule repairs as needed.
• Estimate hour requirements from daily loading schedules and adjust procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and report any issues.
