Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator at our Canal Point, FL plant. You will safely operate heavy mobile equipment including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to support mining and production goals.

The role requires working outdoors in varied weather, maintaining stockpiles, and communicating with supervisors and customers. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with reliable attendance and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
• Comply with all safety rules, procedures and regulations.
• Operate two or more pieces of mobile equipment (bulldozer, excavator, loader, etc.).
• Haul material from mine pit to stockpile, plant or hopper.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections and workplace inspections.
• Identify safety concerns and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Communicate with load/unload areas and haul materials safely.
• Use front-end loader to load customer trucks and maintain stockpiles.
• Maintain effective communications with supervisors and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator based out of our Canal Point, FL plant. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile equipment used in mining. Equipment operated may include bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. The operator will perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and material handling in support of plant and production objectives.

Day to Day

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• The ability to operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
• Operate equipment in quarry and daily hauling of material from mine pit to stockpile, plant or hopper
• Performs walk-around pre-shift safety inspections and workplace inspections.
• Identifies any safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and any other areas where safety can be improved
• Communicates with load and unload areas, hauls materials safely to designated areas and maintains safe speed and observes all plant traffic controls
• Operate a front-end loader to efficiently and accurately load customer trucks and maintain stockpiles.
• Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers serviced
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

About You

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance

• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
