Job summary

Onyx is hiring a Mobile Engineer to build the primary customer touchpoints for Onyx Predictions, a regulated trading platform. You will own features across discovery, trading, balances, and payments, delivering fast, intuitive mobile experiences for iOS and Android.

The role requires shipping consumer mobile apps, strong React Native/Expo/TypeScript skills, and experience with live data and API integrations. Office in NoHo, NYC with in-office days Tue–Thu.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional mobile engineering experience.
• Proficient in React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Shipped consumer apps on iOS and Android and managed App Store/Play submissions.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture, performance, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing mobile features using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Own features across discovery, trading, balances, and payments for a trading app.
• Build responsive experiences powered by live prices and real-time data.
• Own features from design through testing, release, and monitoring.
