Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is the nation’s largest producer of construction aggregates and related materials, with a strong focus on safety, collaboration, and in-person teamwork across offices nationwide. This role supports drilling operations at the Forest Park quarry and contributes to safe, efficient blasting and material production.

Ideal candidates have mining/aggregates experience, CDL Class B, and flexibility for overtime in all weather.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mining or Aggregates preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and extended hours in varying weather conditions.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL License.

Responsibilities

• Champion Safety. Prioritize safety per MSHA and Vulcan standards and ensure drill/blast safety rules.
• Move and Operate Drill. Move drill to location and drill blast holes per pattern.
• Inspect and Maintain Drill. Service bits, hammers, tubes; replace gaskets/filters as needed.
