Job summary

Woofie’s of Kansas City‑North is seeking a Pet Spa Groomer (full or part time) to groom pets to breed specifications, maintain records, and follow safety procedures in a mobile spa setting. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for additional income through pet sitting and walking.

The position emphasizes customer service and reliability, with a bonus structure and ongoing work with a privately owned franchisee of Woofie’s Franchising SPE, LLC.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pet grooming experience
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Excellent customer service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Groom pets according to breed or mixed breed specifications and Woofie’s standards
• Protect pets and self by adhering to safety policies and following procedure in the event of a pet medical emergency
• Maintain pet records by documenting services and updating information
• Clean and sanitize all equipment to maintain a safe working environment
• Resolve customer issues by communicating directly with client and promptly following up with the back-office team
• Complete clerical, supply, cleaning, and any other tasks as assigned by the Mobile Pet Spa Director or Owners of Company

Woofie’s of Kansas City‑North, an affiliate of Authority Brands, brings the comforts and amenities of an upscale grooming salon to the privacy and convenience of your home. Our fully equipped, self‑contained mobile spa with state‑of‑the‑art grooming equipment is designed to achieve maximum safety, comfort, and convenience. We are seeking a Pet Spa Groomer (full or part time) for our growing business. Our customer base is growing every day with over 90 recurring customers and counting.

Responsibilities:

• Groom pets according to breed or mixed breed specifications and in accordance with Woofie’s standards
• Protect pets and self by adhering to safety policies and following procedure in the event of a pet medical emergency
• Maintain pet records by documenting services and updating information
• Clean, sanitize, all equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
• Resolve customer issues by communicating directly with client and promptly following up with the back‑office team
• Complete clerical, supply, cleaning, and any other tasks as assigned by the Mobile Pet Spa Director or Owners of Company

Pay

• 30-38% commission plus administration time (average ticket $116-average weekly tips $158). $2,500 sign on bonus (full time).
• Additional income opportunities through pet sitting & walking.
• 1-3% commission applied to PTO/Health Reimbursement Plan
