Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system, and the mechanisms of a diesel engine.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms.
• Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment.
• Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools.
• Must have tools and a valid driver's license.
• Must pass Drug Test, MVR, and DOT Physical.
• Availability and dependability for service calls.
• Professional appearance and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines
• Inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts
• Test drive vehicles to gauge performance
• Repair or replace vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other parts
• Maintain records of parts inventory and service vehicles
