Job summary

Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is hiring Mobile/Field Service Diesel Technicians for the Spokane, WA location. You will diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks on-site and on the road, using a full set of tools in safe facilities.

Two+ years heavy equipment dealership experience preferred and three years actual truck repair experience. CDL-A a plus. Night/weekend shifts available. Competitive pay: $20-$50 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment dealership experience is helpful in this job role; two years or more preferred. Three years of actual truck repair experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
• Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
• Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the mobile service truck.
• Dash Camera: For insurability and safety purposes, GTC uses front and rear facing dash cameras in all company vehicles.
