Job summary

A leading fleet maintenance company is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will perform DOT inspections, maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles. A High School Diploma/GED with three years of experience in a related field is necessary. Candidates must hold an appropriate driver’s license and obtain ASE certification T8 within 18 months. Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• Class CDL C Drivers License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT Inspections, and follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of truck equipment.
• Document according to company standards using company-issued devices.
