Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light/high-level repairs in a mobile/field setting. The role requires strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently from a service truck.

The position offers flexible work options with home-based remote work while living in the designated city or region, and includes comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities for ASE certification

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PM inspections are required or encouraged.
• Relevant ASE certification(s) or commitment to obtain within 18 months.
• Must provide hand tools and operate company tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleet equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and functionality.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and vehicle records.
