Vanguard Truck Centers is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician at the Adairsville location to diagnose, repair, and service diesel trucks per dealership standards. You will work with the parts team, document work, and perform road tests as needed, while maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.

The role emphasizes safety footwear, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with service staff to ensure timely repairs and quality service. Background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years heavy truck experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Safety footwear required on day one of employment.
• Background screening is a mandatory prerequisite for employment consideration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks or equipment per repair order.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
• Supervise apprentice diesel technicians as assigned.
• Maintain and keep dealership-owned tools and manuals in good condition.
