Job summary

Gabrielli Truck Sales in Dayton, NJ is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician with CNG experience to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks both in shop and at customer locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of diesel repair experience on medium- or heavy-duty trucks.
• Previous CNG vehicle repair experience required.
• Road service/mobile technician experience preferred.
• Experience with Mack, Volvo, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, or other commercial truck brands preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-powered medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance services according to manufacturer and company standards.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brake, electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, and emission systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on CNG fuel systems following safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Respond to customer locations for roadside service calls and mobile repairs.
• Communicate repair status and recommendations to customers and service advisors.
• Complete electronic repair orders, inspections, and warranty documentation accurately.
