Job summary

DuraFleet Miami West brings the shop to commercial fleets in Doral and West Miami-Dade, FL. This mobile diesel tech role offers a take-home service truck, a Monday–Friday schedule, and the chance to diagnose and repair diesel trucks at customer sites.

You will perform brakes, PMs, DOT inspections, and other general repairs, logging each job on a tablet and guiding the customer through your findings. OT, bonuses, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years on diesel, fleet or heavy-duty trucks
• Strong diagnostics, plus hands-on brakes, electrical and PM work
• Qualified, or able to qualify, to do brake and DOT annual inspections
• Your own basic hand tools (we supply the diagnostics and specialty gear)
• A valid Florida license and a clean driving record; you pass a drug test and background check
• A steady work history, and you own every job like it's your own shop
• The hunger to grow with us

Job Description: Mobile Diesel Tech

Salary: $28–35/hr + OT + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Doral / West Miami-Dade, FL

Employment: Full-time

Hours: Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm

TIRED OF THE BAY? TAKE THE SHOP ON THE ROAD. No flat rate. No shop politics. Your own service truck, your own route and real problems to solve.

WHAT YOU GET

• $28–35/hr, plus time and a half on overtime
• Take-home company service truck
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with some flexibility for the odd after-hours or weekend call
• Performance bonus + benefits
• PTO and uniforms, paid every two weeks
• First tech on the team: first in line to lead as we add trucks

THE WORK

• Commercial fleets (vans, box trucks, tractors), fixed right in the customer's yard.
• Diagnose with scan tools: electrical, air systems, no-starts
• Brakes (air and hydraulic), PMs and DOT annual inspections
• General repairs: cooling, suspension, steering, liftgates
• Log each job on a tablet and walk the customer through what you found

A DAY ON THE ROAD

8:00
Your truck is at your house. Check your route.

9:00
PMs on three box trucks in Doral.

11:00
A tractor is down for brakes. Fix it and get it back on the road.

2:00
A no-start in Medley. Find it, fix it.

5:30
Close out, restock, head home.
