Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services provides on-site truck and trailer maintenance with mobile repair teams that come to your location. Technicians are DOT-certified and handle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to keep fleets on the road.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work irregular hours.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

• Proficient with basic computer use and work orders.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, A/C, electrical, engine components).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory.
• Complete DOT forms and documentation promptly.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT

Salary information: $29 - $45/hr. – pay is commensurate with experience
