Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to join our on-site team. You’ll perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, manage maintenance schedules, and complete DOT forms on a company device.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for work orders and documenting labor hours
• Must possess proper tools
• Welding experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engines)
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including DOT inspections
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components
• Open/close repair orders on company device
• Obtain parts and manage inventory on service truck
• Document DOT forms and other paperwork accurately and timely

On-Site Truck and Trailer Maintenance and Repairs

Our mobile repair experts come to you, performing all maintenance and repairs at your location and around your schedule. All of our technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified and are capable of performing a great number of repairs and services.

What You’ll Do

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.

What You’ll Need To Have

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools
