Job summary

DuraFleet Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dependable mobile diesel/fleet technician to perform on-site repairs and maintenance for commercial customers in the Fort Lauderdale area.

This full-time field role requires diagnosing problems, working independently, and handling a variety of repairs in the field. Overtime is available, and you’ll work with your own hand tools and a company service truck provided for work. Uniforms are supplied.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical experience with diesel engines.
• Ability to diagnose problems and use scan tools.
• Capable of working independently.
• Good communication and professionalism.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must supply your own hand tools.

About the Job

We’re hiring a dependable mobile diesel/fleet technician to perform on-site repairs and maintenance for commercial customers throughout the Fort Lauderdale/Pompano area.

This is an independent field position for someone who can diagnose problems, work without constant supervision, and handle a variety of repairs in the field.

If you’re tired of flat-rate work, shop politics, or sitting in the same bay every day, this role offers variety, independence, and steady work.

Typical Work Includes:

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting
• PM services and roadside repairs
• Brakes, no-starts, electrical, and general repairs
• Light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel/gas vehicles
• Customer communication and job documentation

Schedule

• Full-time with overtime opportunities
• Some Saturday work depending on workload
• Occasional after-hours calls

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical experience (diesel preferred)
• Diagnostic ability and scan tool experience
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication and professionalism
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must supply your own hand tools

Bonus Experience
