Job summary

DuraFleet Phoenix is seeking a dependable, skilled Mobile Diesel Fleet Mechanic to perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and roadside assistance for commercial customers throughout the Greater Phoenix Area.

This role is an independent field position requiring self-motivation, daily prioritization, and the ability to handle a variety of repairs in the field. A strong track record in diesel or commercial vehicle repair is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive, fleet, diesel, or commercial vehicle repair experience preferred.
• Strong experience with brakes & suspension systems, electrical systems, no-start conditions, engine-related concerns, general mechanical failures, and ability to utilize diagnostic tools accurately and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently
• Must provide your own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and roadside diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, no-start conditions, and maintenance on commercial light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment throughout the Greater Phoenix Area.
• Perform scheduled fleet maintenance services including oil changes, inspections, tire rotations, fluid checks, brakes, filter changes, general preventative maintenance, etc.
• Communicate with customers, maintain professionalism in the field, and accurately document work completed.
• Work on light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel/gas vehicles and equipment
