Job summary

TridentCare in Seattle is seeking a Sonographer to perform portable ultrasound exams at client facilities, loading equipment and delivering clinically diagnostic images to radiologists for interpretation.

Applicants must hold a graduate degree from an accredited ultrasound program, maintain certifications, and possess a valid driver’s license. The role requires coordinating with dispatch, ensuring accurate orders, and maintaining professional patient interactions while traveling to facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Maintain required certification and registries; provide copies when requested.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide license information on demand.

Responsibilities

• Login for self-dispatching or call into dispatch for case load information.
• Arrive at first case at shift start or 45 minutes prior.
• Unload portable equipment and perform exams ordered by physician with clinically diagnostic images.
• Perform and process ultrasounds with portable equipment and send to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Check voicemail and respond to urgent communications within allotted times.
• Verify patient orders at facility and ensure correct patient identification with two identifiers.
