Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking an experienced Mobile Release DevOps professional to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android apps.

You will automate builds, tests, signing, packaging, and deployments to improve release reliability and speed. You will manage release infrastructure, integrate testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote DevOps standards and governance for mobile engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in DevOps/Release/Build Eng or related role.
  • 3+ years supporting CI/CD pipelines for production mobile apps.
  • Hands-on experience with iOS and/or Android development ecosystems.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bitrise, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Experience managing Apple code signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, and App Store deployment processes.
  • Experience with Android signing, release management, and Google Play deployment workflows.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, Ruby, or similar languages.
  • Experience working within Git-based source control and development workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile build tools and dependency management, including Xcode, Gradle, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of security best practices related to secrets management, credentials, code signing assets, and access controls.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across engineering and operational teams.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex build, release, environment, and deployment issues.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, Build Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical role

  • 3+ years of experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for production mobile applications

  • Hands-on experience with iOS and/or Android development ecosystems

  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bitrise, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
