Job summary

VTG is seeking an experienced applications developer skilled in geospatial GIS and mobile app development for Android and iOS. The role requires React, Electron, and cross-platform development on Windows/Linux, with collaboration across vendor and enterprise teams.

The ideal candidate will manage iterative software releases, engage with customers to define requirements and UI/UX, and hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly on day one.

Qualifications

• Geospatial GIS applications and services experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android/iOS mobile development with React.
• Experience with Electron for Windows/Linux desktop apps.
• Experience managing iterative software development releases and sprints using JIRA.
• Experience communicating with customers to define requirements and UI/UX design.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly on day one of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms; Git/GitLab source control.

Responsibilities

• Serve as geospatial technology and mobile SME; attend vendor meetings and provide technical advice.
• Develop mobile applications for Android and iOS; manage app releases with Electron.
• Collaborate with Enterprise teams to integrate geospatial data into enterprise web apps.
• Track development sprints using JIRA and manage source code in GitHub/GitLab.
• Provide technical support and training to a broad client base.
