Job summary

HealthDrive in Blacksburg/Christiansburg, VA is seeking a Mobile Dentist to deliver high‑quality geriatric dental care in nursing homes and long‑term care facilities. Both part‑time and full‑time opportunities are available, with you setting a patient load and pace that fits your life.

You will work with a dedicated Dental Assistant, perform exams, preventive and restorative care, extractions, denture work and repairs, and travel daily within the greater Blacksburg region.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree required and active state license.
• Ability to work independently and manage patient care.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with EMR and healthcare software.
• Willingness to travel for mobile care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and routine dental care.
• Provide restorative care, extractions, dentures and repairs; mobile setup.
• Document patient care in EMR and maintain accurate records.
• Apply proper coding guidelines and billing for services.
• Follow OSHA guidelines for patient care, materials disposal, and sterilization.
