Community Health Center Inc. is seeking a Mobile Dental Hygienist to cover Middletown, Meriden, and New Britain schools. The role requires reliable transportation, travel flexibility, and a 5-day work week.

The Mobile Hygienist delivers comprehensive oral health services in a fast-paced, mobile environment, serving diverse communities across Connecticut. The ideal candidate has a Dental Hygiene degree and CT license, with preferred 2+ years of experience in community or school-based programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Current Connecticut Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• 2+ years of dental hygiene experience preferred (community or school-based program a plus).
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), dental charting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene services in a mobile setting, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Apply fluoride varnish and sealants.
• Take and process digital dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Provide oral hygiene education to patients and families.
• Maintain infection control standards and PPE protocols.
• Support dentists with four-handed dentistry when required.
• Order and maintain dental supplies.
