Job summary
DOCS Health in Texas is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support military members in mobile exam rooms, performing exams, treatments, and X-rays to keep service members deployment-ready. You will assist in 4-handed dentistry, manage digital X-rays, sterilize instruments, and handle basic admin tasks. Weekend availability and base-access eligibility are required.
Training is provided. Compensation includes hourly pay at $20, mileage reimbursement, per diem, and travel accommodations as
Qualifications
- Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certifications (CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA) and Radiology Certification; CPR/BLS certification.
- Skills & experience: 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools; prior military experience preferred.
- Access to Military Bases: Base entry eligibility required; background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
- Availability: Weekends when you are available.
Responsibilities
- Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring deployment-readiness.
- Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
- Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.
