Job summary

Mid America Health, Inc. seeks a full-time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team in the Detroit, MI area. This role is five days a week during school hours, with a company vehicle provided for travel to local schools and a gas/maintenance card.

You will support pediatric portable dental services and work in a non-private practice setting. The ideal candidate has an active Michigan X-ray License, CPR certification, and willingness to travel within a two-hour radius.

Qualifications

• Michigan X-ray License required.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1 year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining portable equipment and supplies and company van maintenance.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures.
• Loading/unloading and setup of dental operatory inside school.
• Various administrative duties.
