Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for FirstChoice travel assignments across the region. This role offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to travel with per diem while supporting cardiovascular operating room teams.

You will float across locations, demonstrate core professional practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program for Surgical Technologist.
• CST certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 18 months CST experience required.
• No concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
• Orientation/training options available to meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Demonstrate and apply standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience.
• Maintain accountability for decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
