Goodwill Industries Of Central Texas is seeking a Mobile Custodian to travel across Austin retail locations, performing comprehensive cleaning to keep stores pristine. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks across retail stores (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing).
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling; ensure surfaces are debris-free.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces; properly handle cleaning chemicals.
- Move between locations with travel as needed.
- Work in a team to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Full Time Manual Labor Austin, TX, US
Salary Range: $15.00 To $15.00 Hourly
As a Mobile Custodian, you will be an essential part of our team that travels to various retail stores throughout the week to provide top-notch cleaning services. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of retail stores.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakroom, and other common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
- Ensure that all surfaces are clean and free of debris.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Report any safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Be prepared to travel to different retail locations throughout the week.
- Adapts to different cleaning environments and tasks as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Represent the company in a positive and respectful manner.
- Other duties as required.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Clean driving record and a valid driver license are required.
- Ability to travel across multiple locations.
- Ability to work in both a climate controlled and non-climate-controlled environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds at times.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning such as walking, standing, bending, lifting and carrying for duration of shift.
