Job summary

Catholic Community Services of Western Washington seeks a Crisis Mental Health Therapist to join our mobile crisis team serving children and families in Tacoma and surrounding communities. The clinician provides immediate, strength-based assessments and plans to promote safety and stability, often meeting in homes or community settings.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, knowledge of Wraparound services, and a collaborative, empathetic approach.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or equivalent accredited degree.
• Knowledge of WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) principles and practice or Crisis Response strategies preferred.
• Passion for helping families stay together.
• Energetic, innovative style with the ability to engage children, youth and family members in services.
• Enthusiastic and optimistic approach, encouraging ongoing participation of all involved.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile crisis response for children and youth in crisis, in homes, hospitals or community settings.
• Collaborate with families and hospitals to deliver integrated, safety-focused plans.
• Participate in on-call rotation and flexible scheduling to meet community needs.
