Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health or related field with practicum completed, or one year of behavioral health experience.
  • Experience in assessing, triaging, and treating suicidality and crisis situations.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills; strong problem-solving and clinical judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and build relationships via telephone and in person.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-call/mobile coverage and support to team members during crises.
  • Conduct telephone or face-to-face crisis assessments and triage needs.
  • Coordinate access to crisis services and hospitalization when needed.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and EMS to assist individuals and families.
  • Maintain timely documentation for DMH, BBH, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in calls, trainings, and supervision as scheduled.
