Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Clinician to join our Mobile Crisis Intervention team. You will perform telephone triage, screening, counseling, and face-to-face crisis evaluations for adults, children, and families, coordinating next steps with clients and systems.

The role requires a Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, licensure-ready status, and at least one year in crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field is required.
• Degree must be from an accredited university and meet licensure requirements.
• Minimum of one year experience in Crisis Intervention or related field.
• Demonstrated experience and training in assessing adults, children, and families.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis evaluations using established assessment tools, including clinical assessment, formulation, collateral contacts, therapeutic interventions, risk assessment, diagnosis, documentation, supervisor consultation, and disposition planning.
• Conduct evaluations both on-site and in community settings, including traveling to community locations as needed.
• Use clinical judgment to gather information, assess client needs, determine the appropriate level of service, and respond effectively to risk and safety concerns.
• Provide short-term crisis follow-up, stabilization interventions, supportive counseling, resources, and referrals as clinically indicated.
• Provide triage, pre-screening, telephone support, referrals, education, and consultation to clients, families, community agencies, and other professionals by phone, walk-in, or in person.
