Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Mobile Crisis Clinician in Rolla, MO. This part-time role provides immediate crisis intervention, risk assessment, and referral coordination across phone, video, or in-person formats.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00am–8:00pm, with 24 hours weekly, and travel regionally as needed in a hybrid office setting. Strong DSM-V knowledge and driving eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of behavioral health experience if the highest education level is a bachelor's.
• Working knowledge of DSM-V.
• A valid driver’s license and agency minimum automobile coverage.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely crisis assessment and intervention via phone, video, or in person.
• Conduct Zero Suicide screenings and risk evaluations.
• Make clinically sound decisions to stabilize individuals and refer to appropriate services.
• Coordinate care with internal teams and external community partners.
• Deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
• Document services accurately and maintain compliance with agency and state standards.
• Participate in supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Be the Calm in the Storm as a Mobile Crisis Clinician

As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you’ll be on the front lines providing immediate, person-centered crisis intervention to individuals in behavioral health distress. You’ll assess needs, de-escalate crises, and ensure individuals are connected with the care and resources they need — all while collaborating with a compassionate and skilled team.

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High School/GED Required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in social work, psychology, or related field preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• At least one (1) year experience working in behavioral health required if Bachelor’s degree is the highest education level obtained
• Working knowledge of DSM-V required
• A valid driver’s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
• Reliable transportation

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

• MO Substance Use credential required (CRADC or CADC) (if high school is highest education obtained)
• PLPC, LMSW, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, or LCSW preferred
