Job summary

Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network is seeking a Mobile Crisis Clinician to provide direct clinical services, including crisis intervention and de-escalation for individuals of all ages, in community settings.

Under the supervision of the Mobile Crisis Director, this contingent role requires timely documentation, care coordination with the Access Center and outpatient plans, and on-call/mobile crisis coverage across Wayne County.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, the Social Services, or related field.
• One year of full-time paid professional clinical experience in crisis services or a closely related area.
• Valid State of Michigan clinical licensure: RN, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LLP or PhD; limited license accepted.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct clinical services, including crisis intervention and de-escalation for individuals of all ages.
• Performs indirect clinical services with timely and complete case documentation following DWIHN policies and procedures.
• Documents crisis intervention activities in the EMR to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provides coordination and follow-up for clients, coordinating with the Access Center or outpatient therapy plan.
• Maintains clinical documentation including assessments, progress notes, crisis/safety plans and other required docs.
