Job summary

New River Valley Community Services is looking for a Community Support Professional for the Far Southwest area in Virginia. This role involves providing crisis stabilization and prevention supports to individuals with behavioral health diagnoses. The successful candidate will help develop individualized behavior support plans and coordinate services among providers.

The position offers a starting salary of $48,750, with additional compensation considered for multilingual candidates and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Current registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A and/or QMHP-C is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct intensive community crisis stabilization and prevention supports.
• Assist with the development and training of individualized behavior support plans.
• Coordinate services among providers as needed for individuals served.
