Job summary

SIXGEN is seeking a full‑time on‑site engineer in Northern Virginia to lead development of mobile tools for operations and support exploitation of mobile devices. You will analyze code, document tools, and work with end users to define capabilities across the mobile CNE lifecycle.

Requirements include US citizenship with TS SCI eligibility and CI polygraph, a relevant bachelor’s degree (or 4 years’ substitution) and 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with TS SCI eligibility and ability to pass CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field AND 2+ years of experience (4 years may substitute).

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to research and develop mobile tools and concepts for operations.
• Lead technical and analytical support in the exploitation of mobile devices.
• Analyze shell scripts, binaries, and source code.
• Document tools developed and analysis performed.
• Collaborate with end users to identify requirements and drive the mobile CNE software lifecycle.

You will be working alongside other developers and engineers who support a dynamic, fast‑paced, and cutting‑edge mission.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll lead SIXGEN’s efforts to

• Research and develop mobile tools and concepts for operations.
• Lead technical and analytical support in the exploitation of mobile devices.
• Analyze shell scripts, binaries, and source code.
• Document tools developed and analysis performed.

You’ll work closely with end users to identify requirements, conceptualize capabilities, and drive the full mobile CNE software development lifecycle.

Skills include:

• Strong experience developing tools for Android and iOS devices
• Scripting experience
• Knowledge of network design and analysis

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• US Citizen with TS SCI eligibility and ability to pass CI polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college AND 2+ years of experience
• (4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: $150,000 to $240,000

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate's background and alignment with the role.
