Job summary

The Center for Human Services (CHS) in Sedalia, MO is seeking a part-time Mobile Center Driver to transport and set up a 34-foot Mobile Sensory and Accessibility Resource Center at community events. CDL preferred with strong safety and customer service focus.

You will coordinate transport, perform daily vehicle checks, and represent CHS with professionalism while connecting with families and community partners at various sites.

Qualifications

• Requires High School/HiSET diploma or equivalent.
• CDL preferred but not mandatory depending on duties.
• Ability to drive and tow a trailer safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up the 34-foot Mobile Center at community events.
• Maintain truck and trailer through daily checks and logs.
• Schedule and coordinate services for utilities and waste as needed.
• Represent CHS and explain Mobile Center’s mission at events.
• Precept and orient new drivers to Mobile Center procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent truck and trailer driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinates safe transport, efficient setup and use of the Mobile Center to and from community sites.Maintains truck and trailer preventative maintenance by ensuring the completion of daily checks and maintenance logs.Schedules and coordinates utility and waste servicesCommunicates organizations mission and Mobile Center’s purpose in community.Precepts new drivers and orients new staff to Mobile Center procedures.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
