Allina Health’s Mobile Echo team seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams and support cardiovascular imaging. Based at Abbott Northwestern Hospital with travel to multiple sites, the role emphasizes patient care and collaborative practice.

The position offers a 1.0 FTE schedule, 8-hour shifts, and a home base at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge valve programs and receive competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from a diagnostic sonography program required, echocardiography preferred.
• 0 to 2 years Cardiac Sonography experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and special cardiac ultrasound procedures per physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identifies patient and prepares for exam; ensures accurate documentation and image transfer.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; communicates status and needs to the care team.
• Finalizes scan reports and forwards to appropriate readers; participates in room turnover and equipment prep.
