Crown Automotive Group is seeking an Experienced Car Wash Attendant for its mobile unit serving multiple dealerships in Pinellas County. The role requires prior car wash experience in an automotive dealership setting and involves traveling between locations to maintain vehicle cleanliness and appearance.

The position offers hourly pay of $16–$21 based on experience, with benefits such as medical/dental/vision insurance and 401K.

Qualifications

• Previous professional car wash experience in automotive dealership lot environment or similar company with multi-vehicle washing experience.
• Ability to operate mobile wash trailers and manage water reclaim systems.
• Must have attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning across many vehicles.

Responsabilités

Crown Automotive Group's Detail Center is hiring an Experienced Car Lot Wash Attendant for our mobile lot unit - traveling among our multi-locations in Pinellas County to maintain the look and cleanliness of our automobiles on each of our dealerships' lots.

Previous professional car wash experience in an automotive dealership lot environment or similar company with professional, multi-vehicle washing experience is necessary for this position!

Hourly Pay Range $16 - $21/HR based upon experience and qualifications

As an Experienced Car Wash Attendant, you have these abilities:

• Have mastered various washing techniques for different vehicle surfaces.
• Understand the appropriate cleaning products for specific materials.
• Skilled in detailing, including waxing and polishing.
• Knowledge to safely operate pressure washers and other equipment.
• Recognize and address common car care issues, like scratches or stains.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure a thorough clean.
• Operation of mobile wash trailers, water reclaim systems, and chemical management is preferred!

We are in need of someone who is professional, highly responsible and self-driven to drive the mobile unit and work at all of our bay area stores.

A Current, Valid driver's license and CLEAN driving history for at least three years is mandatory. No Exceptions.

Duties Include:

• On-Site Inventory Rinsing: Rapidly spray down new and used inventory to remove dust, pollen, bird droppings, and environmental debris.
• Spot-Free Finishing: Use deionized or filtered "pure water" systems to ensure vehicles dry without water spots or streaks, often eliminating the need for hand-drying.
• Touch-less or Gentle Cleaning: Employ touch less washing techniques or specialized soft tools (like a "Shamarific") to maintain the clear coat and prevent scratching across hundreds of vehicles.
• Equipment Management: Operate and maintain mobile wash skids or trailers, which typically include high-capacity water tanks (150-200+ gallons), pressure hoses (up to 100+ feet), and chemical injectors.

Requirements include:

• Strong work ethic
• Valid FL drivers license, minimum three years
• Clean driving record, minimum three years (no major infractions)
• Verifiable references
• Record of good attendance
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
