Job summary

tdgFacilities is seeking a Building Systems & Low Voltage Mobile Service Technician to serve Greater Cincinnati, OH. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance across access control, CCTV, building automation, and electrical systems.

The technician will work Monday–Friday with on-call rotation, typically 7:30am–4:30pm, and earn $24–$29 per hour. The position offers opportunities to grow across multiple facility systems in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

Experience with low-voltage systems and related hardware.
Familiarity with access control, CCTV, and security systems.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
Comfort using meters and diagnostic tools.
Understanding of basic electrical and low-voltage principles.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Perform low-voltage wiring, cabling, terminations and troubleshooting.
Support access control systems, card readers, electronic locks and related hardware.
Work with security devices, cameras, sensors and infrastructure.
Install and troubleshoot intercom and communication systems.
Interact with building automation and control system components.
Handle doors, electric strikes, and related controls.
Address basic network-connected building devices and power supplies.
Troubleshoot building system communication and connectivity issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections.
Manage equipment replacement, upgrades, and small installation projects.
Perform general electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in commercial settings.
