Job summary

Precision is seeking a Mobile Automotive Calibration and Diagnostic Technician to manage day-to-day service operations and build strong customer relationships in New Jersey. You will perform precise ADAS calibrations for foreign, domestic and EV vehicles on site or at customer locations, using OEM libraries and diagnostic tools while ensuring safety and manufacturer specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of automotive repair experience, plus trade school background.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years automotive repair experience.
  • Trade school experience is a plus.
  • A S E or I-CAR certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of collision repair processes and terminology.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic scan tools and factory software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibrations on multiple vehicle types.
  • Diagnose complex electrical issues and repair wiring harnesses as needed.
  • Use OEM service libraries and diagnostic tools for calibration.
  • Test drive vehicles after repairs and explain results to customers.
  • Maintain organized work area and participate in training sessions.
  • Travel for training and remote service when required.

Job description

The Mobile Automotive Calibration and Diagnostic Technician is a full-time role responsible for managing day-to-day service operations while building strong relationships with customers and maintaining open, professional communication. This position requires advanced diagnostic ability, strong electrical and technological knowledge, and the ability to perform precise ADAS calibrations for all makes and models in a fast-paced environment. Ideal for an experienced technician, this role is a great opportunity for someone who understands vehicle systems and is looking to transition into electronic diagnostics and calibration work.In this role, you will perform accurate ADAS calibrations following collision repairs and windshield replacements, diagnose complex electrical issues, and repair wiring harnesses when needed.
