Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a hands-on Mobile QA Engineer to build and maintain Appium automation in Java for iOS and Android. You will own test scripts, debug flaky tests, and demonstrate end-to-end automation in a real project.

You should be able to explain your framework setup, the CI/CD process with Jenkins, and how tests run on emulators, simulators, and devices. A portfolio or GitHub showing Appium work is highly valued.

Qualifications

• About 5 years of experience in Mobile QA or Mobile QA Engineering.
• Built, run, debugged and maintained Appium test automation in Java on a real project.
• Automated tests on iOS and Android and able to explain hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated tests with Appium in Java.
• Explain framework setup, test cases automated, and CI/CD integration.
• Ensure tests run reliably in Jenkins and across emulators, simulators, and devices.

This role is mainly about writing and maintaining automated tests with Appium. A strong candidate can explain:

• How they fixed failing or flaky tests
• How they set up and ran tests on Android emulators, iOS simulators or real devices
• Strongest proof: a GitHub repository or portfolio showing their Appium work
