Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated automotive technicians to join our team in the United States. We service thousands of repair facilities with a focus on diagnostics, calibration, electronics and mechanical sublet work.

Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience. Excellent benefits and opportunities for growth are offered in a collaborative, safety‑mocused shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant automotive certification.
• 5+ years automotive repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist service managers and estimators in providing documentation for any mechanical or electronic repairs services needed.
• Drives a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents.
• Perform bumper to bumper mechanical and electrical repairs, including OEM software programing, ADAS calibrations and diagnostics.
• Develop relationships with new customers and provide a high level of service to existing customers to maintain customer relationships.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Compensation:
Salary $75,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience.

Basic Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma and relevant certification.
• 5+ years of automotive repair experience.

• Must qualify for corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to develop relationships with new customers to increase market share.
• Proficient use of a variety of automotive services and diagnostic equipment.
• Possess and display a strong and healthy work ethic.
• Must have strong time management skills and be detailed-oriented.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• The employee must occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work in a shop environment including heat and loud noise.
• Requires sitting for relatively long periods of time, while driving.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and/or extreme heat.
• Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional climate driving conditions.
