Job summary

LKQ Corp. is seeking a Mobile Automotive Technician for our Grand Rapids location. The role is hybrid, combining on-site troubleshooting with field work, and involves hands-on diagnostics and repairs using advanced tools. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $95,000 annually, with benefits and growth opportunities.

You will support service managers and build strong customer relationships while performing electrical and mechanical repairs and training trainees when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant certification.
• 5+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Assist service managers and estimators with documentation for repairs.
• Conduct training and test trainees on hardware/software tools.
• Perform bumper-to-bumper mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Develop relationships with customers to maintain service levels.
