Job summary

KIRA is seeking an Android engineer to build the native Android experience for our AI Neobank app. You will ship Kotlin-based features, focus on clean user flows, fast performance and high-quality mobile components used by real customers.

Remote role based in Germany, collaborating with product and design to simplify complex journeys, integrate backend APIs, optimize memory and stability, and continuously improve UX, performance and reliability across our mobile platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
• Strong Android fundamentals and experience shipping production apps
• Knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow and modern Android architecture
• Strong sense of mobile UX, usability, edge cases and user flows
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues
• Fast execution and high ownership with attention to product quality
• Portfolio or examples of shipped work (GitHub) preferred

The Role

Location

This role is remote, but candidates must be based in Germany. We are hiring specifically for this market, so applicants should already be based in Germany.
