Job summary

Silverstone Living is seeking a Full-Time Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) for Webster at Rye in Rye, NH. The role supports our caring Residents and works with a compassionate nursing team in a non-profit setting.

The MNA provides medication administration per physician orders, consults with the Nurse on PRN needs, and monitors residents per safety standards. Experience in long‑term care is preferred but not required, and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) in New Hampshire.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administers regularly scheduled medications per physician orders.
• Consults with the Nurse to assess PRN medication requests.
• Observes the five rights of medication administration.
• Ensures medications are reordered in a timely fashion and available.
• Performs duties as LNA as assigned.
• Serves meals and assists residents in dining room.
• Provides fluids and nourishment to residents.
• Responds to resident calls for assistance promptly.
• Informs supervising nurse of changes in condition or special needs.
• Adheres to safety procedures and body mechanics.

• Time and one - half paid for all hours worked on six major holidays!


• Follows physician orders and administers regularly scheduled oral, topical, suppository, nasal and ocular medications to residents who are clinically stable.


• Consults with the Nurse to assess a resident who requests a \"prn\" (as needed) medication.


• Reports to Nurse observations regarding changes in resident's status.


• Observes the five rights of medication administration.


• Ensures that Resident's medications are re-ordered in a timely fashion and are available for scheduled and prn administration.


• Adheres to duties and responsibilities as LNA.


• Completes any duties as assigned.


• Serve meals, feed those patients who require it and assist patients in the dining room.


• Provide fluids and nourishment for the residents.


• Answer resident's call for assistance promptly.


• Report to the supervising nurse immediately if the resident complains, has a change in condition, or whenever other special needs arise.


• Assume all other duties as assigned by Charge Nurse.


• Assume responsibility for self-safety and safety of immediate work environment.


• Responsible for attendance at annual in-service programs with regards to body mechanics, right-to-know laws and fire and safety procedures.


• Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) licensed by the State of New Hampshire.


• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
