Job summary

Team Services, LLC is seeking a Shore Tankerman to safely load and unload tank barges at refineries and chemical plants along the Gulf Coast. Responsibilities include hose connections, valve alignment, monitoring liquid levels, and overseeing cargo transfer operations on-site.

Qualifications

• MMC and Medical Certificate required.
• TWIC required.
• Valid driver's license with current auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Embrace Team Services mission, vision, and values in all actions.
• Travel to work sites as scheduled by Logistics Coordinators.
• Safely transport PPE, tools, equipment, and supplies to the dock.
• Complete pre-transfer risk assessments and update logs for each task.
• Document accurate times and job details in the log book.
• Maintain 3-points of contact during access and egress.
• Verify work orders match customer and vessel crew instructions.
• Prepare and review DOIs and ensure correct paperwork is completed.
• Follow PPE, safety rules, and vessel transfer procedures.
• Conduct pre-transfer conferences and post-transfer paperwork; ensure safe transfer operations.
• Inspect barge systems and monitor cargo hoses for safe operation.
• Respond to unsafe conditions with Stop Work obligations.
• Report times and required information to Logistics before leaving the facility.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Team Services.

Education

Merchant Mariner's Credential (MMC) & Medical Certificate
