Responsibilities
- Sell and conduct Private Training and Small Group Training with members.
- Execute an effective prospecting strategy, conduct guest tours, and manage sales of staff during turnover.
- Process Intro PT packages, build value, re‑sign clients, and hand off to coaching staff.
- Prospect members in person or digitally to generate complimentary consultations and sell personal training programs.
- Ensure accurate administration of client programs, supplement purchases, measurement tracking, and workout programs.
- Assist in all revenue‑generating activities, including complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body‑fat tables, seminars, and workshops.
- Achieve monthly revenue objectives for Private Training and Supplements.
- Review daily club sales performance and employee performance, identifying issues with the Fitness Manager, Vice President of Fitness, and staff.
- Administer company policies related to the sales process.
- Independently schedule and manage client appointments to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Coordinate directly with clients to arrange sessions, meetings, or service visits according to their availability.
- Maintain up‑to‑date scheduling records and adjust for changes or cancellations.
- Oversee the full scheduling lifecycle for individual client appointments.
- Work with the Fitness Manager to ensure coaches are productive, revenue and service goals are communicated, and the club meets financial targets.
- Set monthly, weekly, and daily goals and objectives, conduct meetings to review performance and operations, and offer guidance toward achieving personal and club goals.
- Handle member service matters such as providing tours of the club, explaining services, and signing up members for training agreements.
- Mediate member issues and concerns, elevating matters when appropriate.
- Perform administrative and housekeeping duties within assigned areas.
- Alert operations staff to repairs and maintenance needs; conduct daily facility walk‑throughs.
- Supervise coach sales activities, review agreements, and prepare daily paperwork.
- Comply with operational procedures and follow‑up on compliance checks.
Organization Relationships
The MMA Sales Admin Manager reports directly to the Fitness Manager and/or General Manager, and communicates and enforces all policies and procedures with the Coaching Team. Duties require interaction with all club members and employees.
Qualifications
- Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- In‑depth knowledge of personal training techniques from assessment to program design and sales.
- In‑depth experience and thorough MMA technical ability related to striking and grappling (MMA Sales Admin Manager only).
- Ability to operate and adjust all fitness equipment.
- Knowledge of company policies, emergency and safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, friendly and enthusiastic.
- Strong customer‑service focus and professional response to inquiries.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills, record‑keeping practices, and ability to prioritize.
- Computer proficient with basic Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Adherence to meal and rest break periods and clock‑in/out for all shift times.
- Required experience:
- Minimum of one certification recognized by UFC Gym.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- High school diploma or GED; four‑year degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of related experience.
- Experience in management or employee relations preferred.
- Physical requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, lift heavy weights, squat, bend, reach, spot, and walk; must be able to lift or move up to 45+ lbs.
Compensation
$85,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year.
