CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to perform a wide range of tests from waived to high complexity in the Clinical Laboratory. You will apply medical technology principles to produce reliable results that support physician diagnosis and treatment.
The role requires an associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, CLIA-compliant training, and active certification or eligibility.
Hours for this position are: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm with every third rotating weekend
Performs a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests and procedures ranging from waived to high complexity testing, in one or more sections of the Clinical Laboratory. Professional application of the principles, theories and techniques of medical technology are used to produce reliable test results that aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment.
