Job summary

The Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a full-time MLS temporary position to support the EPIC transition. The role involves performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliant operations during the go-live period, anticipated to last about 18 months.

You will collaborate with laboratory leadership, informatics, and technical teams, develop SOPs, train staff, and assist with post go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical or Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• AMT MLS or ASCP MLS certification within 1 year is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests accurately.
• Support SOPs, QA, and instrument maintenance.
• Assist with go-live and stabilization during EMR transition.
• Train staff on new equipment and procedures.
